Job Summary
Operate sonographic equipment independently to perform and communicate diagnostic examination results, differentiating between normal and pathologic findings. Manage daily laboratory operations, including patient scheduling, equipment maintenance, and quality assurance. Obtain medical histories and relay findings to radiologists. Requires RDMS certification in Abdominal and OB/Gyn, one year of experience, and successful pre-employment health clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of ultrasound program accredited by the Council for Higher Education(CHEA), United States Department of Education (USDOE), that specifically conducts program accreditation in diagnostic medical sonography
- RDMS certification in Abdominal and OB/Gyn
- one year experience
- Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance
