Job Summary
Perform ultrasound exams in an OB/GYN setting to aid in patient diagnosis; prepare patients, position on exam table, and explain procedures; operate ultrasound equipment, adjust settings, and ensure accurate results; collaborate with referring physicians to determine the appropriate exam; obtain imaging and documentation, and label/analyze results; monitor patient condition during exams and report changes; perform routine maintenance/calibration of equipment; maintain records and logs; adheres to ADA-defined essential functions; requires vocational/technical diploma and RDMS certification, plus 1-3 years of experience and BLS certification; on-site position in Whitestone, Queens, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Vocational or Technical school Diploma required
- Current Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification required (RDMS)
- 1-3 years of technical experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association required
