Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist: General - Flexstaff

Perform ultrasound exams for interpretation to aid in patient diagnosis. Prepare patients, position on the examination table, and explain procedures to reduce anxiety. Obtain pertinent imaging and diagnostic reports, consult with referring physicians to determine appropriate exams, and set up equipment to ensure timely, accurate results. Recognize structures and differentiate artifacts from pathology, monitor patient condition during exams, document image details, label studies, and maintain records. Perform minor repairs and calibration checks on ultrasound equipment as needed and assist with related duties as essential functions under the ADA.
