Job Summary
Provide mobile ultrasound service by traveling in an automobile to nursing homes, home care facilities, prisons, and processing sites throughout serviced regions. Perform and process echocardiograms using portable sonographic equipment to evaluate chamber size, valve function, and blood flow, then digitally send images for interpretation. Unload equipment at facilities and scan exam-related paperwork and billing daily. Maintain vehicle and sonographic equipment, checking voicemail and dispatch systems every thirty minutes as necessary. Communicate professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients while adhering to high medical ethics standards.
Required Qualifications
- Maintain required certification and registries, health requirements, and operational requirements. ARDMS and CCI.
- Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program.
