Job Summary
Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures using prescribed techniques and established protocols while independently conducting exams. Prepare and position patients, prioritizing their comfort, dignity, and safety throughout the imaging experience. Deliver compassionate patient care by addressing concerns, building strong relationships with patients and families, and ensuring safety during all operations. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with departmental, regulatory, and safety standards to support smooth department operations. Work as a collaborative team member in a patient-centered environment utilizing advanced ultrasound technology.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited and certified Ultrasound program
- 1–3 years of sonography or ultrasound experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Registered Diagnostic Sonographer credential (ARDMS) within one year from date of hire
