Job Summary
Perform detailed examinations of anatomy and pathology, making necessary measurements and calculations. Document results in electronic medical records while establishing rapport with patients and providing procedural explanations. Operate ultrasound equipment within the scope of the job and follow MD protocols for procedures. This per diem role involves flexible Saturday and Sunday shifts at Shady Grove Fertility locations in Florida. Prior experience with fertility patients is strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of formal Ultrasound training in an AMA approved school
- Meeting the requirements for registry by ARDMS
- RDMS/RVT
- Understanding and ability to follow MD protocols for procedures
- Ability to effectively operate all pieces of equipment utilized within the scope of this job
- Minimum of two years of experience as an ultrasound technologist in women's health
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with fertility patients
