Sonographer

Perform general ultrasound and vascular ultrasound procedures according to physician orders and imaging protocols. Produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic ultrasound images for interpretation by radiologists by positioning patients and operating equipment to obtain optimal scans. Process, review, and transmit images to PACS for storage and physician review while maintaining accurate patient records and imaging documentation. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance with infection control and regulatory standards through collaboration with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff. Requires RDMS or S certification, one year of experience, and current BCLS. Days shifts available in Lewiston, ME.
