Job Summary
Responsible for performing sonographic procedures to assist in diagnosis, ensuring patient safety and comfort, correlating clinical history with the diagnostic study, preparing patients for examinations, performing routine ultrasound procedures, assisting physicians in interpretation, staying current in diagnostic sonography, and assisting in training of students and staff.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Graduation from an ultrasound school
- Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or registry eligible
- Current CPR certification
