Job Summary
Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and echocardiography, as needed. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring accuracy and safety. Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and ensure their comfort. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret images and maintain accurate patient records. Adhere to all safety protocols and stay updated on latest sonography technology. Train other technologists as required. This role requires current RDMS certification, state licensure, and BLS (preferred). Physical demands include extended standing and patient positioning. Required Qualifications
- Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent
- Valid state licensure as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
- The ability to stand for extended periods
- Frequent lifting and positioning of patients
- The physical dexterity to manipulate ultrasound equipment and perform precise imaging
Desired Qualifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
