Job Summary
Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams across multiple specialties, including adult, pediatric, OB/GYN, and vascular imaging. Accurately document and communicate imaging results to providers while operating and maintaining equipment per established protocols. Collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care, ensuring comfort and safety during procedures for all age groups. Participate in quality assurance, continuing education, and process improvement initiatives. This full-time evening shift role (Mon-Thurs with rotating weekends) at a 238-bed acute care hospital in Panama City, FL, offers a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits including tuition reimbursement and medical transport.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of acute care sonography experience (or ultrasound tech experience)
- Associate Degree in relevant field
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to perform a wide variety of exams confidently across age groups and specialties
Desired Qualifications
- Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) within 1 year of hire
- Comfort with pediatric and OB/GYN scanning
- Strong interpersonal and patient care skills
