Sonographer (OB/GYN and MFM)

Job Summary
Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations according to ordering physician's requisition, including OB/GYN and MFM studies. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to discuss findings, while explaining procedures to patients in a friendly, comforting manner. Uphold safety, privacy, and infection control standards, and pursue continuing education to stay updated on advancements in sonography techniques. Work full-time, part-time, or per diem between Hyannis and Sandwich, Massachusetts, reporting to the Clinical Regional Manager. Requires an RDMS in OB/GYN with 2 years OB/GYN experience and 6 months MFM experience.
Required Qualifications
- RDMS in OB/GYN
- Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Program
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience post-RDMS
- 2 years of OB/GYN experience
- 6 months minimum MFM experience
- GE Voluson experience
- Experience working with Viewpoint reporting software
- Strong interpersonal skills when interacting with patients and physicians
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently
