Job Summary
Perform specialized ultrasounds to assess fetal well-being in pregnant women and assist Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians with ultrasound-guided procedures. Prepare patients for exams by positioning them to obtain optimal images and inform medical staff of any abnormal findings. Participate in the clinical instruction of students as needed. This per diem, day shift role is based in Toledo Hospital's Maternal Fetal Medicine department.
Required Qualifications
- Must have attended an approved school of diagnostic ultrasound
- Must have had the equivalent experience accepted by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
- Must have current registration as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) granted by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
- Must have equivalent training that is accepted by the ARMDS
- Must be registry eligible
- Must successfully complete all registry requirements within 6 months of hire date
