Job Summary
Provide quality ultrasound and biopsy images with accuracy and efficiency using optimal equipment skills. Gather complete documentation of pertinent information to ensure accurate and timely patient service. Deliver personal and patient care and safety using professional judgment in accordance with written standards to prevent injury. Maintain professional communications, appearance, conduct, punctuality, and attitude to earn respect from physicians, patients, and coworkers. Maintain current state licensure in Sonography for Oregon and hold ARDMS AB OB certification, with one year to obtain additional certifications if starting with only one. Requires BLS/CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited (by AMA or ARDMS) school of ultrasound or equivalent experience
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in Abdomen and OB/GYN (ARDMS AB OB)
- Current state license in Sonography
- American Heart Association, Health Care provider level BLS and AED Certification
