Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients using transducers to examine tissue and body structures, providing quality images for clinical interpretation. Set up and adjust equipment, perform routine and complex studies, and recognize significant structures, artifacts, and pathology. Ensure equipment functionality through quality control and maintenance, reporting malfunctions appropriately. Submit high-quality images and documents to PACS with correct labeling and patient data. Maintain a clean, orderly department and comply with regulatory standards while working in a state of constant alertness. Requires a registered sonographer with two or more appropriate registries and Basic Life Support certification.

- Completion of a Sonography program
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with Abdomen (AB) Specialty - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with Breast (BR) Specialty - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
