Sonographer II - PRN

Conduct diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients using transducers to examine tissue and body structures, ensuring high-quality images are submitted to PACS with correct labeling and patient data. Set up and adjust equipment, perform routine and complex studies, and maintain safety standards and quality control protocols. Recognize significant structures, artifacts, and pathology while ensuring all imaging equipment functions properly and is locked/tagged out if malfunctioning. Maintain a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms and storage areas, and comply with regulatory agency standards. Work in a constant state of alertness, utilizing vision, hearing, and physical capabilities for patient lifting and data entry. Submit high-quality images and documents promptly to the appropriate personnel.
