Job Summary
Sonographer II per diem responsible for performing ultrasound examinations across General, OB-GYN, and Vascular specialties and presenting findings to radiologist. Requires ARDMS-eligible status with ABDOMEN and Vascular (RVT) certification within one year, OB/GYN proficiency within two years, and graduation from an accredited ultrasound program. Duties include General, OB, and Vascular ultrasound, assisting with interventional procedures (biopsies, amniocentesis, D&E), introducing or placing transducers, bedside portable exams, and maintaining high-level transducer disinfection. Per diem schedule at EvergreenHealth with potential shift premiums; includes exploring benefits such as paid sick leave and retirement options.
Required Qualifications
- ARDMS-eligible by date of hire
- ARDMS-certified in Abdomen and Vascular Certification (RVT) within one year of employment
- OB/GYN at a minimum by two years of employment
- Graduate of an Accredited Ultrasound Program
- Training specific to the operation and use of Ultrasound scanners
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire
