Sonographer I Pool Variable

Perform diagnostic sonographic exams under Radiologist supervision, positioning patients and equipment to acquire high-quality images while assessing technical quality and proper annotation. Comply with state and federal regulations, quality control standards, and Baptist Health mission statements to ensure patient safety and accurate documentation. Provide patient instructions, administer medical aid for emergencies, and maintain safety protocols through appropriate personal protective equipment. Assist in supervising student sonographers and training new hires while utilizing corporate radiology computer systems effectively. Work variable shifts to support the team as needed, maintaining punctual attendance consistent with hospital policies.
