Job Summary
Sonographer I needed in a hospital-based imaging setting. Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain diagnostic scans, assist physicians in diagnostic/therapeutic procedures, and prepare patients. Requires ARRT (S) or ARDMS certification within 6 months of hire; associate degree preferred; minimum of one year of sonography experience. PRN schedule at a hospital/imaging resource pool in Charlotte, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography or Sonography Program; or CAAHEP-recognized Sonography Program, required.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in sonography, required.
- Licensure/Certification: NH Medical Center-Certified and registered by ARRT in Sonography or certified and registered by ARDMS in a minimum of one specialty - RT(S) or ARDMS within 6 months of hire, required.
- NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered by ARRT in Sonography or certified and registered by ARDMS in a minimum of one specialty - RT(S) or ARDMS, required.
- NH Medical Group Office-Certified and registered by ARRT in Sonography or certified and registered by ARDMS in a minimum of one specialty - RT(S) or ARDMS, required.
Desired Qualifications
- ARRT (S) or ARDMS certification within 6 months of hire
- Prior acute care experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
