Job Summary
Perform quality ultrasound examinations under the direction of a Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP). Utilize advanced clinical and technical knowledge to provide safe, high-quality ultrasound procedures. Provide direct patient care spanning neonatal/newborn to young adults. Works as part of the Radiology-Hurst Ultrasound team at Cook Children's Ambulatory Surgery Center in Hurst, TX. Requires an allied health degree (School of Radiologic Technology or equivalent) and BLS; ARDMS registration is preferred or eligible within 18 months of hire. This is a part-time position with First Shift hours.
Required Qualifications
- Completed School of Radiologic Technology or other 2 year allied Health degree
- Three years ultrasound experience, preferred
- ARDMS or registry eligible to be completed within 18 months of hire
- BLS required
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree in Radiologic Technology or related
- 3 years ultrasound experience (preferred)
- ARDMS or registry eligible within 18 months of hire
- BLS required
