Job Summary
Follows clearly defined diagnostic sonography procedures to deliver high quality images to physicians and other healthcare providers for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and prevention of injury or disease; integrates education, technical competence and patient interaction to execute safe and precise procedures and deliver accurate results in a timely manner; adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. This is a Limited Term, 26 weeks, benefited position with full-time shift coverage and varied hours.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or equivalent education/experience
- ARDMS Sonographer certification/eligibility
- BLS Healthcare Provider
- Two of: AB-Abdomen, BR-Breast, FE-Fetal Echocardiography, OB/GYN, PS-Pediatric, RVT-Registered Vascular Technician; Level III requires three of the above
- 2 years (Level I/II) or 5 years (Level III) clinical experience
