Job Summary
Operate imaging equipment (ultrasound) to assist in diagnosis and treatment, maintaining high-quality imaging standards, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care. Requires graduation from an accredited sonography program with completed clinical hours, one year of relevant experience, state licensure as applicable, ARDMS/ARRT/CCI certifications with two advanced registries, and BLS. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and prolonged standing; strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Mercy offers benefits and growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Sonography and completed required clinical hours
- One (1) year of relevant experience
- License: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice
- Certifications/Registrations: ARDMS/ARRT/CCI and 2 applicable advanced registries/certifications within the applicable work area; Basic Life Support (BLS)
