Job Summary
Sonographer position at Mercy: Operates ultrasound imaging equipment and software to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Requires proficiency in imaging, patient safety, and high-quality imaging standards, with a strong commitment to patient care and collaborative communication with patients and healthcare professionals. Education from an accredited Sonography program with clinical hours; 1 year of experience; ARDMS/ARRT/CCI certifications and 2 advanced registries plus BLS; licensure may be state-dependent. Physical duties include lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs and standing/walking during shifts. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits for 32+ hours per pay period. Oklahoma City, OK location.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Sonography with completed clinical hours
- One (1) year of relevant ultrasound experience
- Licensure as required by state of practice
- ARDMS/ARRT/CCI and 2 applicable advanced registries/certifications; Basic Life Support (BLS)
- In Arkansas state: ARDMS-RVT OR CCI-RVS OR ARRT-VS may be required within 12 months of hire/transfer depending on scope
