Job Summary
Operate ultrasound imaging equipment and software proficiently to assist in diagnosis and treatment, primarily ultrasound imaging. Serve as lead when direct leadership is unavailable, act as an expert resource, and assist in training. Maintain imaging standards and patient safety while communicating effectively with patients and healthcare professionals for optimal care. Requires graduation from a school of sonography or registration as a technologist, ARDMS/ARRT registries (with OB/GYN registry within 6 months if applicable), and potential for contributing to training and patient care in a hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of a school of sonography or registered technologist
- Experience: One (1) year of relevant experience with three (3) applicable registries or five (5) years relevant experience and two (2) applicable registries
- Certifications/Registrations: ARDMS or ARRT registries as applicable with specific timelines; OB/GYN registry requirement within 6 months of hire if applicable
