Sonographer Contract

Performs ultrasound examinations in accordance with scope and standards of practice and UCHealth policies. Reviews patient history and physician orders, educates patients about procedures, prepares equipment and supplies, and ensures safety and quality control. Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and analyzes imaging results to identify quality issues. May work with Radiology students and requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision. This is a part-time, onsite contract role with UCHealth Women’s Care Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs, located in Lakewood, CO. The role emphasizes accurate imaging, patient education, equipment prep, and adherence to quality standards.
