Sonographer

Conduct diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients, manually maneuvering transducers to examine tissue and body structure while ensuring equipment functions properly. Implement safety standards, perform quality control, and recognize significant structures, artifacts, and pathology. Submit high-quality images to PACS with correct labeling and patient data, maintaining a clean department. Maintain constant alertness and safe manner while performing other duties as assigned. Requires Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with Abdomen, OB/GYN, or Vascular specialty certification, plus Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Full-time day shift role within the Vascular Lab at MO-SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital.
