Job Summary
Perform routine, advanced, invasive, non-invasive, and interventional cardiovascular ultrasound procedures independently. Operate and maintain ultrasonographic equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images and blood flow data. Ensure patient safety and comfort while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. Deliver accurate ultrasound studies, document thoroughly in EMR, and support clinic operations through scheduling and training. Collaborate closely with physicians and uphold a patient-centered philosophy.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular ultrasound program
- ARDMS or CCI registered (or registry-eligible) in Vascular and Cardiac Ultrasound
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Desired Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and normal vs. abnormal flow characteristics
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accurate documentation and quality imaging
- Motivated to maintain continuing education and remain current in vascular technology
