Job Summary
Registered Diagnostic Sonographer performs ultrasound imaging (abdominal, small parts, obstetrical) for diagnosis and treatment across adult/pediatric patients; may perform vascular imaging and needle procedures (biopsies, drainages). Ensures equipment readiness, conducts studies independently, may participate in on-call and portable exams at multiple sites. Requires RDMS or equivalent; CPR certification; preferred RDCS or equivalent and <2 years of experience. 36-hour weekly schedule with defined shifts and holiday call rotation in a hospital imaging services setting; sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- RDMS or equivalent certification
- Associate degree or trade school equivalency in Radiologic Imaging/Ultrasound
- CPR certification
