Sonographer - Belpre Ultrasound - FT 1.0 (80 hrs biweekly) (69804)

Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain quality diagnostic images and assist radiologist with interpretation. Maintain supplies and inventory, rotate diagnostic imaging students in the Ultrasound Department, and schedule patients in coordination with Stress Lab and Outpatient Scheduling. Participate in department activities including taking call on a rotational basis and training new employees. Enter orders correctly and utilize multiple computer systems (Meditech, Chartmaxx, iSite). Attend department meetings (approximately 9 per year). Full-time role (FT 1.0, 80 hours biweekly). Follow MHS Standards of Excellence and adhere to confidentiality. Applies SDMS scope of practice and Ohio Department of Health rules; BLS certification and RQI compliance required. Provide care appropriate to the patient population served and contribute to continued quality improvement efforts.
