Sonographer 5, OB/GYN

Perform a variety of technical ultrasound procedures under physician direction for OB/GYN patients. Responsibilities include conducting routine and specialized ultrasound studies, preparing patients, obtaining patient history, recognizing significant structures, discussing findings with physicians, and ensuring proper documentation. Candidates should possess an Associate's degree in laboratory sciences, demonstrate initiative, and maintain a high standard of medical ethics. A valid ARDMS certification in OB/GYN is required. Must be capable of providing instruction to interns and participating in research.
