Job Summary
Develop and maintain an extensive wine list that complements our cuisine; conduct regular tastings and stay up-to-date on industry trends; work with the culinary team to ensure wine pairings enhance the flavor profiles of dishes; train and educate staff on wine selections and service techniques; interact with guests, offering expert recommendations and enhancing their overall dining experience; ensure proper storage, inventory management, and ordering of wine and related accessories.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience as a sommelier in a high-end restaurant or hospitality environment
- Extensive knowledge of various grape varietals, regions, and production methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Certification from a recognized sommelier program is preferred
