Somali (SOM) Distance Learning Associate Language Instructor

Somali language instruction delivered virtually to improve proficiency across listening, reading, and speaking (L/R/S) per DLPT, ACTFL, and OPI standards. Provide instruction on regional culture using modern communicative and blended-learning methodologies, based on the designated POI. Develop and deliver lessons, assess learner levels from ILR 0+ to 3, review and grade assignments, and provide feedback. Maintain a positive virtual classroom and collaborate with Site Lead, POI analyst, and Language Instructional Developer to address student and curriculum gaps. Location: Remote TU Support at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA (US).
