Solvent Extraction Supervisor

Job Summary
Supervise daily solvent extraction operations from preparation through recovery, monitoring critical parameters like temperature, pressure, and throughput to maintain stable plant output and quality targets. Lead shift operators, allocate manpower, and ensure strict compliance with safety protocols, SOPs, and hazardous-area handling procedures for hexane systems. Coordinate with maintenance on equipment condition, shutdowns, and preventive actions while investigating process deviations and implementing corrective measures. Prepare accurate shift reports and communicate key deviations to management. Requires hands-on experience with oilseed processing and willingness to work in shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Food Science/Food Technology, Oilseed Technology, Process Technology, Production/Manufacturing Engineering or another related technical discipline
- 5–8 years' relevant experience in solvent extraction, vegetable oil manufacturing, oilseed processing or edible oil production
- Hands-on experience with hexane-based solvent extraction
