Job Summary
Provide higher-level IT support to teachers, students, and district personnel, including managing the helpdesk, installing and configuring computer hardware, software, and peripherals, diagnosing and repairing hardware/software malfunctions, and maintaining district devices and servers. Assist in training and supporting UX Support Specialists, ensure smooth operation of district network and systems, document resolutions and procedures, and collaborate with the technology department to meet timelines and district needs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from high school, supplemented by college-level coursework in computer science or closely related field
- Preference for applicants with a four year college computer science, business information systems, or closely related degree
- Three years of experience involving the installation, maintenance and repair of computer hardware, software and peripherals
- Valid California driver’s license
