Job Summary
Educate customers on best practices for deploying and scaling AI systems while serving as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle. Proactively prospect into existing accounts to uncover cross-sell opportunities for Datagrid and partner with sales to lead technical discovery calls that identify customer goals and data requirements. Build AI agents to solve pressing problems by writing instructions and configuring tool usage, then design custom demos and proofs-of-concept showcasing agent capabilities. Translate complex technical concepts into stakeholder value for audiences ranging from the C-Suite to IT teams. This role reports directly to the AI Solution Specialist team manager and requires 3+ years in solutions engineering or pre-sales. Base pay ranges from $131,040 to $180,180 USD, with an on-target earning range of $218,400 to $300,300 USD. Experience in the construction industry is a major plus.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in a solutions engineering, pre-sales, or customer-facing technical role
- Proven track record of successful outbound prospecting, account mapping, and driving cross-sell revenue within existing accounts
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, APIs, and cloud-based architectures
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- Strong prompt engineering skills
- Comfort presenting to executives, operations, and technical audiences alike
- Curiosity, resourcefulness, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
