Job Summary
Solutions Engineer with strong technology background to translate capabilities into business value for VertiGIS telecommunications solutions. Responsibilities include providing technical/product expertise to sales teams, creating and showcasing product demonstration solutions, developing enterprise demonstration environments, coordinating resolution of technical issues in the sales process, maximizing customer benefits, translating business requirements into architecture/design specifications, defining proof-of-concept applications, delivering presentations and workshops, developing marketing resources with sales/marketing teams, collaborating with product teams to position capabilities, developing in-depth product knowledge, and educating sales/partner teams on GIS-enabled architectures. 5+ years in a similar/related role with experience in product management, product marketing, technical presales, or solutions engineering in telecom software. Requires excellent communication, interpersonal skills, accuracy, and attention to detail; understanding of geography, GIS, and Esri technology. Diploma or degree in computer science, engineering, telecommunications, geography, geomatics, business administration, or related discipline. Nice-to-have: telecom inventory management experience, hands-on GIS software platform experience, telecoms development experience. Success looks like designing scalable telecom GIS solutions, closing deals, and ensuring customer adoption and long-term success.
