Job Summary
Solutions Engineer needed to design and implement technical broadcast/streaming solutions for customers in South Korea; responsibilities include collaborating with sales/marketing, creating implementation roadmaps and SOWs, leading RFP processes, setting up POC environments and product demos, delivering high-impact presentations, driving the end-to-end sales cycle, and training key customers; requires 5+ years in video broadcast, 3+ years in pre-sales, a CS-related bachelor's degree, strong IP networking and Linux skills, travel within South Korea and APAC, and fluency in Korean and English.
Required Qualifications
- Industry experience: Minimum 5 years in the video broadcast industry, with expertise in transcoding, video packaging, and Content Delivery Networks (CDN)
- Pre-sales experience: At least 3 years in a pre-sales or solutions engineering role, ideally within the video or streaming industry
- Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Technical skills: Solid knowledge of IP networking, Linux system administration, and hands-on experience with broadcast and streaming technologies
- Communication skills: Strong communication abilities, capable of explaining technical information to diverse audiences
- Problem-Solving skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Travel flexibility: Willingness to travel within South Korea and the APAC region for short trips
- Team collaboration: Experience working in a multi-cultural environment, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams
- Fluent in Korean and English
