Job Summary
Serve as the primary technical advisor for SMB sales opportunities, partnering with Account Executives to lead technical discovery with stakeholders including IT administrators, security leaders, developers, and CISOs. Demonstrate Endpoint Privilege Management, SaaS Manager, and Device Trust as an integrated solution while running proof-of-value engagements that validate customer success criteria in developer environments, cloud-native workloads, and AI workflows. Help customers evaluate solutions against competitive vendors and respond to security questionnaires, compliance requests, and RFPs. Collaborate with Sales Enablement, Product, Marketing, and Support to refine demos and enablement resources. Report to the Manager, Sales Engineering - SMB in a remote-first environment with occasional travel for industry events and offsites.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role
- Experience in business-to-business (B2B) software as a service (SaaS) or a similar environment
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong presentation, storytelling, and discovery skills
- Ability to prioritize effectively, manage competing responsibilities, and maintain quality in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment
- Demonstrated curiosity, sound problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote-first team
- In-person onboarding in Toronto
- Remote work from home country
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with security and identity concepts, such as credential management, privileged access, secrets management, Single Sign-On (SSO), System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM), or OAuth/OpenID Connect (OAuth/OIDC)
- Understanding of developer and DevSecOps workflows, including Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), containers, cloud infrastructure, service accounts, and application programming interface (API) credentials
- Familiarity with platforms such as HashiCorp Vault, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI, Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure
