Job Summary
Solutions Engineer, Security & Privacy at Braze leads pre-sales security and privacy efforts to accelerate deals. You will own technical security, data privacy, and compliance questionnaire responses (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, CCPA, NIST), deliver rapid, accurate turnarounds, and defend Braze’s security posture in customer reviews. Responsibilities include building and maintaining a scalable knowledge base for security, collaborating with Corporate Security, DevOps, Legal, and Product Engineering to translate complex architectures into customer-friendly collateral, and developing self-service security packages and trust artifacts. Candidates should demonstrate a revenue-enablement mindset, strong project-management skills, and fluency with global data protection laws and cybersecurity frameworks. Required experience: 3–5 years in Solutions Consulting, Technical Pre-Sales, Information Security, or Technical IT Audit; strong SaaS/MarTech exposure; communication excellence. Compensation for US-based candidates ranges from $86,000 to $142,000 base plus OTE, with total rewards including RSUs and benefits. This role is #LI-Hybrid and based in the US with a Chicago-area placement indicated by the posting.
