Job Summary
Solutions Engineer at ScalePad partnering with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to support new customer acquisition, expansion, and strategic partner conversations. Deliver tailored ControlMap demos that connect product capabilities to partner workflows and business value, lead discovery to understand partner goals, compliance maturity, and technical environment, map workflows to identify risks and fit, handle technical questions on control mappings, readiness, audits, and trust centers, maintain knowledge of ScalePad’s product suite, support onboarding for high-value partners, and contribute to enablement and go-to-market efforts with documentation of repeatable discovery and demo patterns for partner-facing materials.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, presales, consulting, or technical advisory roles in SaaS, cybersecurity, compliance, or the MSP industry
- Strong experience leading discovery, delivering tailored demos, and connecting technical capabilities to meaningful business outcomes
- Ability to communicate confidently with technical experts, business stakeholders, and executive buyers
- Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Success teams in fast-moving environments
- Familiarity with compliance and security concepts such as controls, evidence collection, audits, trust centers, and readiness programs
- Experience with frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, CMMC, NIST CSF, or similar is strongly preferred
