Job Summary
Design complex hosting solutions and corresponding services, collaborating with sales to respond to customer needs with minimal supervision. Present advanced technical concepts to customers through demonstrations and proposals, effectively communicating requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences. Work with operational staff on initiatives affecting the Solutions Engineering Team and respond to functional and technical elements of RFPs. The role emphasizes translating customer needs into technical and contractual solutions and presenting them clearly to diverse stakeholder groups.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Four or more years of experience in Sales Engineering (preferably focused on managed services and custom designed solutions)
- Two or more years of experience in data center infrastructure (space, power, connectivity)
