Solutions Engineer(Python/Airflow)

Job Summary
Solutions Engineer specializing in Python and Airflow, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining full-stack/ data-oriented applications. You will develop responsive web apps using Next.js and Node.js, write Python backend services and data processing scripts, build and monitor automated data pipelines with Airflow and dbt, design secure RESTful APIs, deploy and manage applications in AWS, and optimize PostgreSQL databases. The role requires 5+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript & Node.js, strong API development skills, Python proficiency, AWS familiarity, dbt and Airflow experience, SQL proficiency with PostgreSQL, and a willingness to learn new frameworks. This is a 100% remote role for candidates based in EST or CST, with location restricted to the United States.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript & Node.js, with deep understanding of Next.js and strong API development & integrations
- Proven experience using Python for application development or data engineering
- Working knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
- Experience in Pipeline Development with dbt and workflow tools like Airflow and/or n8n
- Experience with workflow automation platforms (e.g., n8n, Zapier, or custom-built solutions)
- Strong SQL skills and experience managing PostgreSQL databases (schema design, complex queries, optimization)
- Proficient in Git version control (branching, PRs, code reviews) and implementing CI/CD workflows
- Ability to switch between different programming languages and technical domains
- Track record of identifying technical bottlenecks and implementing efficient solutions
- Proactive learning mindset and staying current with industry trends
