Job Summary

Solutions Engineer - Pre Sales responsible for guiding prospects through discovery sessions and product demonstrations, conducting proofs of concept, and collaborating with Sales, Product, and Engineering to map customer needs to Vertice's procurement platform. Build trusted relationships, articulate the value of the product, address technical requirements, and help sales teams articulate new solutions and enhancements. The role requires strong solution-selling and demo capabilities, discovery-focused engagement, ability to manage multiple deals, understanding of APIs, and a hands-on, customer-centric approach to enable successful onboarding and post-sale handoffs.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 4-5 years of experience in a solution-selling environment or a similar role with transferable skills
  • Strong solution-selling and demo skills
  • Excellent discovery skills
  • Knowledge of APIs
  • Troubleshooting technical issues
