Job Summary
Solutions Engineer in Tokyo to partner with customers and ensure they achieve tangible business value from OpenAI API and ChatGPT business product during pre-sales. Responsibilities include delivering exceptional pre-sales customer experience, outlining value propositions and technical requirements, demonstrating how solutions meet business needs through demos, use cases, and proofs of concepts, handling security and compliance questions, creating and maintaining docs and FAQs, developing strong customer relationships, gathering and relaying customer feedback for product planning, and collaborating with Sales and GRC teams. Requires 7+ years in a similar role, bilingual Japanese/English, and strong communication skills; hybrid work model (3 days in office/week) with relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years in Solutions Engineer or similar role
- Fluent in Japanese and English
- Ability to deliver and scale pre-sales customer experience
- Experience providing security and compliance support for technical B2B SaaS products
- Strong presentation and communication skills with executives and leaders
- Ability to manage multiple projects with expansive ownership and prioritization
- Commitment to safe and ethical evolution of AI
