Job Summary
Solutions Engineer, PerfectScale by DoiT, based remotely in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Sweden, or Estonia. You will be a technical leader within the Solutions Engineering team, collaborating with Account Executives to drive value across the customer journey for Kubernetes optimization. Key duties include technical qualification and discovery, owning technical validation and POC leadership for PerfectScale, platform demonstrations, building business cases and ROI analyses, becoming the internal go-to expert for PerfectScale, leading technical win processes, and representing the company at events. You will also handle accurate, timely documentation and engage with customers to address Kubernetes cost and performance challenges. The role requires strong Kubernetes knowledge, DevOps/FinOps background, data-analysis capabilities, and excellent communication skills, in a fast-paced, remote-friendly B2B SaaS environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineering role within a B2B SaaS software company with emphasis on DevOps, Kubernetes, or FinOps teams
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE, OpenShift) and DevOps best practices
- Hands-on experience with SaaS solutions in cloud environments (observability, optimization, FinOps, Platform Engineering)
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Track record of building business cases and ROI analyses for customers to demonstrate cost savings and performance improvements
- Ability to articulate Kubernetes concepts and PerfectScale functionalities to technical and business audiences
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience presenting to executive-level prospects and customers on cloud cost management and Kubernetes strategy
- Experience with modern technical selling practices, including trial, demo, and RFP processes for Kubernetes optimization solutions
- Prior experience as a Kubernetes DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, SRE, or FinOps is a plus
