Job Summary
Solutions Engineer for PerfectScale by DoiT will lead technical qualification, discovery, and validation of Kubernetes optimization engagements. Responsibilities include owning technical POC preparation and execution, platform demonstrations tailored to customer use cases, developing compelling business cases and ROI analyses, becoming the internal expert for PerfectScale, owning the technical win throughout engagements, representing the company at events, and ensuring timely documentation. The role requires strong Kubernetes expertise, experience in SaaS/cloud cost optimization, data analysis skills with monitoring tools, and strong communication to both technical and executive audiences. The position is remote within the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Sweden, or Estonia as part of an EMEA remote team, with a focus on engaging customers across the cloud/Kubernetes ecosystem.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineering role within a B2B SaaS software company, focusing on DevOps/Platform Engineering/SRE/FinOps and Kubernetes/cloud cost management.
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE, OpenShift) and DevOps best practices.
- Hands-on experience with SaaS solutions for cloud environments (observability, optimization, FinOps, Platform Engineering).
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog.
- Proven ability to build business cases and ROI justifications for prospective customers focusing on cost savings and performance improvements.
- Ability to articulate complex Kubernetes concepts and PerfectScale functionalities to technical and business audiences.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills for executive-level engagement.
- Experience with modern technical selling practices and running trials, demos, and RFP processes for Kubernetes optimization.
- Prior experience as a Kubernetes DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, SRE, or FinOps is a plus.
- Track record in fast-paced, scaling SaaS environments, ideally in cloud/Kubernetes management.
