Job Summary
Turn vegetation intelligence into operational impact for utility customers by delivering analyses with geospatial depth, building scalable workflows, and owning customer projects end-to-end from data requests through customer-ready outputs. Work with large geospatial datasets from Overstory's platform, customers, and third-party sources to process, validate, analyze, and convert outputs into actionable insights. Translate technical findings into actionable recommendations to influence customer decisions, identify patterns for standardization and productization, and collaborate with product/engineering to shape the roadmap. Willingness to grow into product, customer success, or strategy roles while maintaining strong customer-facing delivery. Strong emphasis on geospatial analysis, Python tooling, and AI-assisted workflows to scale climate-solutions in the utility sector.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of professional experience with large, complex geospatial datasets in a customer- or stakeholder-facing capacity
- Proficiency with a Python-driven analytical and engineering stack (Python, Jupyter, git/GitHub, command-line workflows)
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated attention to detail and data care
- Demonstrable experience or serious interest in leveraging AI tooling to amplify work
- Excellent communication, including translating technical findings for non-technical audiences and building rapport with customer counterparts
