Job Summary
Run product demonstrations tailored to prospects' technical environments, respond to RFPs and technical questionnaires, and prepare proof-of-concept scopes. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for US accounts post-sale, troubleshooting license server issues, integration questions, and deployment challenges. Conduct periodic business reviews and usage health checks with customer stakeholders while identifying upsell and expansion opportunities. Partner with the sales team to qualify opportunities and move deals through the pipeline. Build relationships across IT, procurement, and engineering personas within customer organizations. This growth role develops strong performers into Key Account Managers or Business Managers. OpenLM's platform supports aerospace, automotive, defense, and R&D teams across 40+ countries.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent hands-on technical experience will be considered.
- 0–3 years of experience in a technical sales, solutions engineering, or support role (internships count).
- Comfortable discussing technical topics — servers, networks, software licensing, or IT infrastructure.
- Strong written and verbal communication; confident presenting to both technical and business audiences.
- Self-starter who can manage a pipeline, follow up diligently, and work independently across time zones.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with software license management, EDA tools, CAD/CAM, or HPC environments.
- Experience with CRM tools (Zoho, Salesforce, or similar) and sales pipeline management.
- Exposure to enterprise SaaS sales cycles or B2B account management.
- Second language is a plus — our US customer base spans global engineering teams.
