Job Summary
Support customers through sales journeys with live demonstrations and presentations targeting IT managers, developers, and product managers. Execute well-defined, outcome-focused POCs while modeling how Okta Workforce Identity solutions support client architecture requirements. Maintain deep technical expertise across IAM, single sign-on, and multi-factor authentication to communicate complex ideas using white-boarding and product demos. Occasionally present at local and regional events to evangelize Okta solutions. Requires EST time zone availability and 5+ years of pre-sales experience. Onsite role in Bangalore.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work in the EST Time Zone
- A minimum of 5 years of working experience in IAM or a related SaaS field as a pre-sales engineer
Desired Qualifications
- Expertise or hands-on experience in IAM, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, passwordless authentication, universal directory, privileged access, and device access
- Experience working with REST APIs and SDKs
- Ability to communicate complex ideas and solutions, incorporating white-boarding, practical examples, and product demonstrations
- Experience in a customer-facing role such as consulting, customer support, or pre-sales
- Strong empathy, listening skills and time management skills
