Solutions Engineer - Northeast

Job Summary
Deliver product presentations and demonstrations showing how Salt's API security solution addresses customer challenges; build strong relationships with customer's technical staff; lead proof-of-value engagements to demonstrate business value and technical benefits; collaborate with Account Executives to align technical requirements with business drivers; coordinate and deliver RFP/I/Q responses and technical architecture solutions. Strong presales experience in API security, API gateways, microservices, cloud-native technologies, and a broad tech stack (Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, Load Balancers) plus excellent communication skills and willingness to travel within the region.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of Presales experience selling security solutions
- Understanding of APIs, API Gateways, microservices and cloud-native technologies
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, and Load Balancers
- Technical curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel within your region as required
