Job Summary
Solutions Engineer at Netskope responsible for engaging customers and partners as the primary point of contact, advocating for customer needs, and driving cloud security value. Responsibilities include exceeding sales targets, articulating Netskope architecture benefits to senior security management, delivering product demonstrations and PoCs, creating evaluation plans with customers and partners, leading RFIs/RFPs responses, participating in trade shows, and providing competitive market insights. The role requires strong communication and presentation skills, deep technical knowledge across cloud identity, data security, VPN/NGFW, DLP, and experience with various IT ecosystems (Windows, Linux, macOS, mobile platforms), plus willingness to travel within the region and collaborate with HQ teams to ensure customer success.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant experience as a Solutions/System Engineer with a proven track record presenting technical information at executive levels
- Bachelor's degree (preferred) in Computer Science or related field
- Strong communication, presentation, and public speaking skills
- Experience with systems installation, configuration, and administration (Linux, MacOS, Windows)
- Proficiency with mobile device technologies (MDM/MAM) and Android/iOS
- Knowledge of certificates, key management, HSM and related protocols
- Experience with security solutions (Web Proxy, NGFW, Security Gateways, VPNs, SAML/SSO, DLP, data security)
- Experience with Cloud Identity Providers, SCIM, SIEM, SOAR, EDR and SD-WAN deployments
- Experience with Active Directory / Azure AD; AWS, Azure, GCP familiarity
- Travel within region; willingness to travel as needed
- Scripting (Python) and REST API experience
- Prior experience with other vendor Cloud Security solutions advantageous
- Agile Scrum/PM certifications and advanced networking certifications are a plus
- Bachelor’s degree; preference for CS or related fields
